Plumb Island, Newburyport, MA | Ezra Philip's Birthday
On June 1st, my 3rd baby turned one! One! I can't believe it! I feel like it was just yesterday, I was cuddling this beautiful bundle of joy from the comfort of my hospital bed! Time is going by too fast this time. Being a mom to my 3 boys keeps me very busy, so I guess I should expect that with each child, time speeds up a little more. Thank goodness I have hundreds, or thousands ;) of photos to look back on and remember.
We decided to head to the beach and I'm so happy we did because It turned out to be really lovely there! It was breezy, not too hot and a perfect way to introduce my little man to the beautiful ocean; my happy place. I plan to create many more memories at the beach with this handsome man and his two older brothers, who at the time were happily digging sand in the background while I documented this special occasion with Ezra. <3
I wasn't sure how Ezra would feel about touching sand for the first time but he didn't seem to mind it! I had no trouble at all getting him to smile for me! I've taken so many photos of this sweet boy but this picture is definitely an all time favorite of him and will have a place framed on my wall very soon!
Being a mom is the greatest joy and accomplishment of my life and I am so thankful for my awesome kids! I'm looking forward to documenting many of the amazing things they will do as they grow.
Last weekend we celebrated Ezra's birthday with a Mickey Mouse themed Barbecue at my grandmother's house. It was a great day spent with family and friends! The weather held out for the most part. My husband got a free shower out of it as he was grilling everyone's yummy food. The kids had a lot of fun running through the sprinkler and playing with water balloons in the back yard while the adults had fun inside reminiscing and joking. Here are a few pictures of the celebration.
Every 1st birthday, we get a cake from Cakes 4 Occasions in Danvers MA. They make really yummy nut free custom cakes. Like always, they didn't disappoint with their adorable Baby Mickey cake. This time, we decided to also offer cupcakes to our guests and everyone loved them!
I also ordered these adorable Mickey and Minnie ears from Etsy. Ezra tolerated them long enough for me to take a couple cute photos of him. :) My cool 8 year old also humored me and wore them for just one photo.
I think it's safe to say that Ezra enjoyed his party and cake (mosty frosting). :) Thank you to everyone who came and celebrated with our little man!
